Ali Krieger

 Alexandra Blaire Krieger (born July 28th, 1984) is an American soccer player with NJ/NY Gotham FC in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL),the top division for women's professional soccer in the United States, and the United States women's national soccer team. On the 16th of January, 2008, she made her debut with the United States National Team at the 2008 Four Nations Tournament. She was playing against Canada. Since then, she has been a part of more than 100 matches for the team. She was a member of the United States at the 2008 Four Nations Tournament in Canada on January 16 2008. She took part in all matches in the United States at the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2011, including the one that kept opponents in a tally for a record amount of 545 minutes. [5] In 2012, Krieger suffered serious knee injuries in the 2012 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying tournament , and did not recover in time to be selected to the 2012 Olympic Team. Krieger, who persevered for another four years was picked for her first Olympic team, and competed in the Rio Olympics 2016. Hers was the first American woman to become an US Olympian in women's soccer.
