Ali Liebert

 Ali Germaine Landry (born July 21, 1973) is an American actress, model, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss USA 1996. She played the role of Rita Lefleur on UPN's sitcom Eve. In the 1998 Super Bowl commercial, she played the role of the Doritos Girl. People magazine named her one of the 50 most beautiful people worldwide in 1998. ]Landry was named after Ali MacGraw after her mother was a fan of the film Love Story. Landry was born in Cecilia (La.) to Renella Ray and Gene Allen Landry. Landry is of French (Cajun) descent. Landry graduated from Cecilia High School in 1991. At the time of her high school graduation she was captain of the cheerleaders. She went to the University of Southwestern Louisiana, now University of Louisiana at Lafayette and was a major in mass communication. Kappa Delta is her sorority. In 1990, she was named Miss Louisiana Teen USA. In July 1990 she was a representative of Louisiana in the Miss Teen America pageant in Biloxi. She was first in the evening gown and swimsuit contests but was seventh in the final competition. Alison Dyan Lovert, born on August 20, 1981 is a Canadian model, actress, and producer. She was a recipient of an award from the Canadian Screen Award for work in the wartime television series Bomb Girls.Liebert is an British Columbia native, born in Surrey and was raised in Duncan. She has always had an desire to perform since a young age. Liebert graduated from high school and went to the Canadian College of Performing Arts, Victoria for two years. She then moved to Vancouver to pursue her dream of being a successful actress on television and film. Her first appearance was on stage in the musical 'A Flask of Bourbon', in which she played the role of Veronica. Her television credits include roles on Fringe as well as The L Word, Kyle XY, and a regular part in Intelligence. Liebert was cast in Sook-Yin Lee’s film debut, Year of the Carnivore. The film also featured the feature Hardwired by Cuba Gooding Jr. and Blaine Thurier's A Gun to the Head. In the Molson Canada commercial "It's an Unwritten Code for Canada ", Liebert also appeared. The role of Liebert in the role of Betty in the mini-series about WWII Bomb Girls received critical acclaim in 2012, and was awarded a Canadian Screen Award. Liebert is a queer woman and has expressed her opinions about using her work to promote queer representation.
