Lauren Christine German is an American actress from the United States. Her first big role was in the 2002 film starring teen romance A Walk to Remember. Then, she starred in the horror films The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003, Part II) and Hostel: Part III (2007). German was a part of two seasons on CBS's crime drama Hawaii Five-0. From 2011 until 2012, she played DHS agent Lori Weston. In the second season, she also played in Chicago Fire as Leslie Shay. German was born in Huntington Beach, California. Her father, Richard German, a vascular surgeon, is her paternal grandfather. James German, her paternal grandfather, was Dutch and was born in Amsterdam in 1909.
