Lauren German

 Lauren Christine German is an American actress from America. Her first big part in 2002's teen romantic drama A Walk to Remember, followed by roles in film horror The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) and Hostel Part II (2007). German starred in two seasons of CBS's crime drama Hawaii Five-0. From 2011 until 2012, she played DHS agent Lori Weston. In the second season, she was the star of Chicago Fire as Leslie Shay. German was born in Huntington Beach, California. Her father, Richard German, a vascular surgeon is her paternal grandfather. James German, her paternal grandfather, was Dutch and was born in Amsterdam in 1909. He immigrated with his family to the United States from the Netherlands when he was an child.The remainder of Lauren's ancestry is English.She attended Los Alamitos High School and Orange County High School of the Arts and later enrolled at the University of Southern California, in which she studied anthropology. German's first stage work was as a character in Peter Pan and Oliver. The year 2000 saw the release of Down to You was her feature film debut. She had a tiny role in the film as a romantically-infatuated woman. German was in Maxim magazine's January 2002 issue graphic and was named number 47 in Maxim's Hot 100 of 2002.
