Lauren German

 Lauren Christine German is an American actress. Her first major role was in 2002's teen romance film A Walk to Remember. Her next film was horror films The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003 Part II) and Hostel Part III (2007). German starred in two seasons of CBS's police drama Hawaii Five-0. From 2011 until 2012, she played DHS agent Lori Weston. In the second season, she also was the main character of Chicago Fire as Leslie Shay. From 2016-2021, she appeared as the detective Chloe Decker in the American fantasy comedy-drama Lucifer.German was born in the Orange County suburb of Huntington Beach California. Her father Richard German is a vascular surgeon. Her maternal grandfather, James German, was Dutch born in Amsterdam in 1909. The family emigrated to the United States from the Netherlands when he was a child.The rest of Lauren's family is English.She attended Los Alamitos High School and Orange County High School of the Arts and then enrolled at the University of Southern California, where she studied anthropologyGerman's first stage work was in Peter Pan and Oliver. The year 2000 saw the release of Down to You was her debut feature film. She played a small part as a love-struck woman. German was featured in a picture for Maxim magazine's January 2002 issue. She was listed as #47 on Maxim's "Hot 100 of 2002" list
