Jessica Barth is an American actress who is best known for her role as Tami-Lynn McCafferty in the film Ted as well as its sequel.After high school, she attended classes at the Wilma Theater. She then attended La Salle University, where she studied communications for two years. She later earned an undergraduate degree in the field of Bachelor of Arts at West Chester University, where she studied the arts and writing. writingBarth developed her resume, while working in three different eateries in Los Angeles. Her acting career started with theater plays. Her first appearance was in The District in 2004. In 2005, she appeared in Neo Ned. Barth was recognized worldwide for her role as Tami-Lynn (the love persona of the title character) in Seth MacFarlane’s 2012 film Ted. In Ted 2, Barth was accused of assaulting and drugging her manager David Guillod. She re-stated the accusation in 2017.in June 2020, Guillod was charged with 11 felonies of sexually-related crimes, including kidnapping and rape, stemming from accusations made by other women.In 2017, Barth disclosed that she had been the victim of sexual harassment by Harvey Weinstein. She had a meeting with Weinstein in his hotel suite to attend a business meeting during which Weinstein "alternated between offering to cast her in a film , and then insisting on a naked massage in his bed." MacFarlane who was the director for Barth in both Ted movies, stated his support for her allegations via Twitter.
