Kari Matchett

   Kari Matchett is an Canadian actress.She is famous for her performances as Colleen Blessed in Power Play, as Joan Campbell in Covert Affairs as well as Kate Filmore in the science fiction movie Cube 2: Hypercube. Her film credits include Apartment Hunting (2000) and Angel Eyes (2001), Men with Brooms(2002), Cypher (2006), Civic Duty (2006), The Tree of Life (2012), and Maudie (2016). She went to high school at Lethbridge Collegiate Institute in Lethbridge, Alberta. She was a student at the National Theatre School of Montreal and at the Moscow Theatre School. In Canada her first major part on stage was The Rez. The first major role on stage in Power Play (1998-2000) was Colleen Blessed. Matchett was a cast member of the A&E Network TV series A Nero Wolfe Mystery (2001-2002), along with Timothy Hutton in which she played a variety of characters, including the role of Lily Rowan. In the show Wonderfalls, she was Beth who was the bisexual love interest of the main character's lesbian sister.
