Jessica Barth is an American actress, known for portraying Tami-Lynne McCafferty from the film Ted and its sequel.After her high school years, she took classes at the Wilma Theater, and later attended La Salle University, where she studied communication for two years. She later graduated with an undergraduate degree in the field of bachelor of Arts at West Chester University where she studied the arts and writing. writingBarth built up her resume, while working in three different eateries located in Los Angeles. She began her acting career by performing in theater plays, gaining her first TV role in The District in 2004 and her first film appearance in Neo Ned in 2005. Barth gained worldwide recognition for her role as Tami-Lynn (the love lover of the title character) in Seth MacFarlane's 2012 film Ted. She reprised the character in Ted 2 (2015).In 2012, Barth was accused of her manager David Guillod of drugging and sexually assaulting her. The accusation was repeated in 2017.in June of 2020, Guillod was charged with 11 felony counts of sex-related crimes, including kidnapping and rape, stemming from accusations made by other women.In 2017 Barth disclosed that she had been an victim of harassment sexually from Harvey Weinstein. She met with Weinstein in his hotel suite for a business meeting during which Weinstein "alternated between offering to cast her in a film and insisting on a naked massage in his the bed." MacFarlane directed Barth in the two Ted films, expressed his support for her allegations in a statement on Twitter.
