Alisyn Camerota

 Alisyn Lane Camerota, born June 21 1966 was an American broadcast journalist. CNN Tonight is her current show that runs from 10 to 11 pm. In the past, she was the anchor of CNN's morning program New Day and a co-host on CNN Newsroom's afternoon edition. She also serves as a presenter at Fox News. Camerota has covered news stories across the country and internationally and has twice been nominated for an Emmy Award for news reporting.Camerota has covered the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in Houston as well as the Paris and Brussels terror attacks, and the Parkland school shooting. In the hours following the massacre, she conducted interviews with Parkland students who survived and National Rifle Association representatives. Camerota has participated in numerous panels with Donald Trump supporters and is often critical of Trump. Camerota also covered the Me Too movement. Camerota was anchor on New Day and also anchored various primetime specials, such as Tipping Point, Sexual Harassment in America as well as The Hunting Ground, Sexual Assault on Campus. Camerota spent many years working at Fox News, most notably as a part of the Fox & Friends franchise, as well as co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend. Her first novel, Amanda Wakes Up, about a dreamy young journalist who gets an enviable job at the cable news channel during a crazy presidential race was released by Viking in 2017. It was praised by NPR as one of the top books of the year. It was also praised by O, The Oprah Magazine as "a must-read."
