Alejandra Marrero, nee Espinoza Cruz (born March 27, 1987), is a Mexican model and beauty queen. In May of 2007 she won her first Univision beauty contest/reality TV show Nuestra Belleza Latina. Prior to Nuestra Belleza Latina 2007, Espinoza was a contestant on the Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2006 pageant and came in 3rd Runner Up. Five Espinoza competed against 11 other contestants on Nuestra Belleza Latina 2007. She competed against five other contestants on the show's final episode hosted by Giselle Blondet. Espinoza was a model as well as co-presenter of Univision's Sabado gigante, starring Don Francisco. After six years on Sabado Gigante, where she appeared in 333 weekly shows, Espinoza decided to leave the show in July 2014. She was co-hosting Nuestra Belleza Latina 2014 in 2014. Univision announced in July 2014 that she was hosting a reality and singing competition called La Banda.
