Alejandra Marrero, nee Espinoza Cruz; [note 1] born March 27 in 1987), is a Mexican model and beauty queen. She was the winner of the inaugural year of Univision's beauty competition/reality TV show Nuestra Belleza Latina on May 22, 2007. Prior to taking part in Nuestra Belleza Latina 2007, Espinoza took part in the Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2006 pageant which she won 3rd place. [5]Espinoza competed against 11 other finalist in Nuestra Belleza Latina 2007. She competed against five other Finalists on the show hosted in 2007 by Giselle Blondet. In February 2008, Espinoza became a model and co-presenter on Univision's cult show Sabado Gigante starring Don Francisco. In July 2014, after 6 years of working at Sabado Gigante and appearing in 333 weekly shows, she left the show in order to pursue other initiatives in Los Angeles. She was co-hosting Nuestra Belleza Latina 2014 in 2014. Univision announced in July 2014 that she was hosting a new reality and singing competition called La Banda.
