Alejandra Marrero (nee: Espinoza Cruz;[note 1] born on March 27 1987) is a Mexican beauty queen, model, and TV presenter. On May 22, 2007, she won the first Univision beauty contest and reality TV show Nuestra Belleza Latina. Prior to Nuestra Belleza Latina 2007, Espinoza was a contestant on the Nuestra Belleza Mexico 2006 pageant and was crowned 3rd Runner-Up. 5 Espinoza took on 11 other contestants on Nuestra Belleza Latina 2007. She was one of five Finalists on the show hosted by Giselle Blondet. Espinoza was a model and co-presenter for Univision's Sabado gigante, starring Don Francisco. In July 2014 after six years at Sabado Gigante and appearing in the show's 333 weekly episodes, she left the show to pursue different initiatives in Los Angeles. In 2014, she was as the co-host for Nuestra Belleza Latina 2014.In July 2014, Univision announced that she will be the host of a new reality series and singing competition named La Banda scheduled for 2015.She is represented by MC2 Model Management in Miami.
