 Agnes Yulo Diego, born on 16 February 1993 is a YouTuber from the United States of America. The channel she has on YouTube, Akidearest, is best known for her discussions about anime, manga and otaku cultures. Diego created her second YouTube channel, "Akidearest," on December 18th, 2014. It is focused on anime, manga and otaku culture. Diego's first video, "REACTION DMMD Love Scene," which sees Diego react to a scene in the drama Dramatical Murder was released December 26th, 2014. It is considered to be her breakthrough video, "5 Songs That Will change The way you see Vocaloid," was released on January 12th, 2016; the video explores serious issues that fans to causal listeners of Vocaloid may not expect.On August 21 the 21st of August, 2017, Akidearest hit 1 million subscribers.From 2017 until the year 2018, Diego hosted the weekly SBS podcast titled The Anime Show, with Joseph Bizinger (The Anime Man) The show was a 68-episode series that included discussions on manga, anime and Otaku culture.In January 2019, Diego moved to Japan after which her channel grew to include her experiences living in Japan.In the Diego made an appearance in The World Next Door by Rose City Games that year.
