Akidearest

 Agnes Yulo Diego (born February 16, 1993), known online as Akidearest, is a Filipino-American YouTuber. She is best known for discussion of manga, anime as well as Japanese-related content on her YouTube channelDiego created her second and current YouTube channel "Akidearest" on the 18th of December in 2014, focusing on discussing manga, anime, and otaku culture; the first of her videos, "REACTION: DMMD Love Scene" where Diego reacts to scenes from Dramatical Murder, was released on December 26th on the 26th of December, 2014. Considered as her break-out video, "5 Songs That Will alter The How You View Vocaloid," was released on January 12th, 2016; the video explores serious issues that casual viewers to fans of Vocaloid may not expect.On August 21, 2017, Akidearest reached 1 million subscribers.From 2017 to the year 2018, Diego co-hosted the weekly SBS podcast titled, The Anime Show, with Joseph Bizinger (The Anime Man) The show was a 68-episode series that discussed about anime, manga, and the otaku culture.In January of 2019, Diego moved to Japan and her channel grew to include her experiences while living in Japan.In the same the year, Diego also made an appearance as an in-game character in The World Next Door, by Rose City Games
