AJ Michalka

 Amanda Joy Michalka (/mi:'Sa:k@/ mee-SHAH-k@, born on April 10, 1991)is an American actor, musician and singer-songwriter. She is known as the other half of the duo Aly & AJ (briefly 78violet), alongside her older sister Aly Michalka. She has appeared in movies such as The Lovely Bones (2008) and Secretariat (2010). Michalka was also an actor on ABC's sitcom The Goldbergs (2013-2023), and its spin-off series Schooled (1919-2020). She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (2018) are her most famous role. Michalka is the younger sister of actor and musician Aly Michalka. Mark is her father. Carrie is her mother. Carrie was a musician and performed with the Christian rock band "JC Band". The parents of Carrie are divorced. As a little girl she was briefly in Seattle and Milwaukee.Both she and her sister attended Mack Elementary. She has played the piano since she was a young girl and began playing guitar at a young age. At the age of five old, she began acting in church productions. She was raised as an Christian and was homeschooled for a portion of her childhood.Michalka participated in a variety of musical performances at the school she attended in Milwaukee when she was a young girl.
