Maria LaRosa, an American meteorologist. Since July of 2019, she has worked as meteorologist at WNBC-TV New York . She is also an alternate weather presenter on NBC's Today.Previously, she worked for The Weather Channel in Atlanta, Georgia.She co-hosted America's Morning Headquarters together with Sam Champion and Mike Bettes from 2014 to 2015. She was host of Weekend Recharge with Paul Goodloe until September 23, 2018.LaRosa was born in New York state, but was raised in Ramsey, New Jersey. She was hired by KYW-TV, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in June 2004. The station later hired her by WXIX TV, the Fox Broadcasting Company station in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was KYW's noon and weekday morning meteorologist. She was a meteorologist as well as a presenter for WTVM-TV which is the ABC station located in Columbus, Georgia. She was a part of The Weather Channel in 2010 and worked as a meteorologist on camera on Weekend Now and PM Edition. Co-host Todd Santos was her co-host. She left the Weather Channel in March 2012 to present the 5:30-6:00am versions of First Outlook as well as Your Weather Today, which broadcasts from 9:00am to 10:00am (EST) each morning. In addition to hosting Wake Up With Al (2012-2014), Morning Rush (2010-2014), America's Morning Headquarters (2014)-2015 and Morning Rush (2010-2014), she also hosted Wake Up With Al (2012-2014). September 23rd, 2018, was her last day with The Weather Channel.
