Maria LaRosa, an American meteorologist from the United States. Maria LaRosa, a meteorologist from the United States, is an American. She was born in New York, but she was raised in Ramsey. She was hired by KYW-TV, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in June 2004. The station later hired her by WXIX-TV, a Fox Broadcasting Company station in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the weekday morning and noon meteorologist at KYW-TV located in Philadelphia. She was a meteorologist as well as a presenter for WTVM-TV The ABC station located in Columbus, Georgia. She joined The Weather Channel in 2010 and worked as a meteorologist on-camera along with Weekend Now and PM Edition. Co-host Todd Santos was her co-host. In March 2012, she left to do the 5:30-6:00am edition of First Outlook and Your Weather Today from 9:00 until 10:00 am (EST).She hosted the show Wake Up With Al from 5:30 tto 7am with Stephanie Abrams, Al Roker and Mike Bettes (2012-2014), Morning Rush between 7 and 10am with Abrams and Bettes (2010-2014) as well as America's Morning Headquarters (2014-2015). September 23rd of 2018, was her final day on The Weather Channel.
