Marcia Anne Cross was born on the 25th of March in 1962. She acted in soap operas that aired in the daytime like The Edge of Night, Another World, and One Life to Live before moving to primetime TV and a regular appearance in Knots Landing. She appeared in Melrose Place as Kimberly Shaw from 1992 until 1997. Cross played the housewife Bree Van de Kamp on the ABC TV series Desperate Housewives (2004-12), for which she was nominated for three Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in musical or Comedy, and a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in the field of Comedy Series. Cross played a frequent role in the role of President Claire Haas in the ABC series Quantico. She is an English-Irish and was born in Marlborough. Janet Cross was a teacher. Mark J Cross (1923-2021), are her parents. Cross was raised Catholic. She graduated from Marlborough High School, 1980. She also earned a Juilliard half-scholarship. Cross finished college in 1984, earning the degree of B.F.A. Cross did her acting studies. Cross returned to school in 1997 and graduated with a master's in psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles.
