Alex Meneses

 Meneses was born in Chicago, Illinois. She is of Mexican descent on her father’s side, and Ukrainian descendant on her mother's side. Meneses studied acting in Chicago's The Second City Improvisational Theater during the summer holidays. After graduating from high school, Meneses was offered a modeling position in Milan, Italy. Though her initial time in Italy was only for three months, she fell in love and returned to the United States. She remained in Italy for two years, becoming an accomplished model. Meneses relocated to Los Angeles after she returned to the United States. She studied acting at The Lee Strasberg Institute. In 1995, Meneses became part of the cast of the Showtime comedy show Sherman Oaks. Later, she played the recurring role as Teresa Morales in the final season of the CBS western drama series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, replacing the actress Michelle Bonilla from the previous season. She also had support roles in a variety of films, including Selena, The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas and Auto Focus.
