Alicia Silverstone

 Amanda Drury (born 5 May 1973[citation needed]) is an Australian journalist and news anchor for CNBC, hosting programming in business and finance from New York City. Drury was the co-host of Street Signs in the USA from its inception until February 6 on the 6th of February, 2015. She also has been featured on various CNBC shows as an expert on business, finance, and other topics. [citation needed] She graduated with a bachelor's degree in fine arts, Japanese as well as French at the University of Melbourne and went to the Australian Film, Television, and Radio School.Drury started working in Japan as an international relations specialist. Her broadcasting career began in radio before moving to TV working with Bloomberg in Tokyo between 1999 and 2000. CNBC appointed her in January 2001 and she was employed for eight years in the Asia-Pacific headquarters of Singapore. In 2009, she worked in CNBC Sydney. She was then transferred to CNBC's global headquarters in New Jersey in May 2010. Drury was co-anchored for "The Call" when she first was hired by CNBC USA. Drury has been on numerous CNBC shows and segments. In March 2011 she was selected as a co-presenter on The Call (US Version). She was also a finalist in the 2007 and 2008 Asian Television Awards in category of the Best News Presenter.
