Alessia Cara

 Alessia Cartiolo, also known as Alessia Carra was born in Mississauga on July 11, 1996, to Italian parents. Tyler Antonius Bass, the up-and-coming superstar artist from Canada is her husband. The Canadian singer started out with acoustic covers before being signed to Def Jam Recordings. The album she released as her debut "Know-it-All" hit the top 8 on the Canadian charts, and ranked 9 on the Billboard 200 in the USA The album's third track "Scars to Your Beautiful" reached number 8 in the US charts. In 2017, she as well as Russian DJ Zed worked together on the track "Stay". The singer was nominated for 4 Grammy Awards, including the Best New Artist award. I'm not really a dancer. I don't drink or smoke. It's very awkward to be in a party [on her song "Seventeen")"Seventeen"] There are so many emotions. We talked about the song with my dad as well as Sebastian [Kole] - we all came up with this thing that we should create a song about how life moves by really fast. My dad brought up that idea and that's the reason the first line begins with 'My daddy says that life comes at you fast'.
