Alex Borstein

 Alexandrea Borstein, born February 15, 1971 was an American comedian, writer, and producer. Borstein voices Lois Griffin on the animated comedy TV series Family Guy (1999-present), and was awarded an Primetime Emmy Award for the role. Her role in the role of Susie Myerson, a comedy-drama actor in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (1999-present), earned her two Primetime Emmy AwardsBorstein was also the lead character in MADtv's sketch comedy show (1997-2009) as well as Dawn Forchette in Getting On (2013-15). Borstein played a variety of film roles as a supporting character, including The Lizzie McGuire Movie, Catwoman (2004), Good Night, and Good Luck (2005), The Lookout (2006), Good Night, And Good Luck (2007), The Lookout (2008), Dinner for Schmucks (2010), Ted (2012), ParaNorman (2012), A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014). In 1989 she graduated from Chatsworth High School. Borstein was a graduate of San Francisco State University where she studied rhetoric. After being scouted and selected by talent agents, she trained in improv comedy at the ACME Comedy Theatre near Hollywood, California. Borstein was also a writer and voice actor for several TV shows which included Casper, Pinky and the Brain and Power Rangers Zeo before joining the cast of MADtv in 1997 as a star player. She joined the cast as a repertory performer in mid-season
