Alessia Cartiolo, also referred to as Alessia Carra was born in Mississauga on July 11, 1996, to Italian parents. Tyler Antonius Bass, the up-and-coming Canadian breakout artist is her husband. The Canadian artist began with acoustic covers before she was signed to Def Jam Recordings. Her debut album, "Know-it-All", reached number 8 on the Canadian charts and was ranked at number 9 on the Billboard 200 in America. The album's third single, "Scars to Your Beautiful," reached number 8 on the US charts. She as well as Russian DJ Zed worked together to make the hit single "Stay" in the year 2017.
