Ajiona Alexus was born March 16, 1996 in Tuskegee (Alabama) and relocated to Birmingham in 1999. As a child, Ajiona developed a deep love for acting in theatre plays. She was 8 years old when she recited her first monologue on the stage. Her parents recognized her talents early and enrolled her in dance and acting classes. Ajiona began to audition for roles as a 7th grader. At 14 she was offered her first leading role in the film, "Unspoken Words". Three months later, Ajiona was invited to audition to play a regular part in the sitcom. Ajiona was told by her agent DeAnna was offered the part on The Rickey Smiley Show, just days before filming started.
