Agnes Yulo Diego (born February 16th, 1993), known online as Akidearest is a Filipino-American YouTuber. The channel she has on YouTube is famous for her discussions about manga, anime, and the otaku world. When she was a kid, Diego got into creating Anime music videos (AMV) and also had a prior YouTube channel that hosted some of her works. After completing a degree in psychology at the university level, Diego decided to pursue YouTube as a career.Diego started her second and currently active YouTube channel "Akidearest" on the 18th of December, 2014, focusing on discussing manga, anime and otaku-related culture. her first video, "REACTION: DMMD Love Scene" where Diego reacts to scenes from Dramatical Murder, was released on December 26th, 2014. The video is regarded as her breakout one, "5 Songs That Will change the way you view Vocaloid," was released on January 12th, 2016; the video delves into topics that casual viewers of Vocaloid might not anticipate.
