AJIONA ALEXUS

 Ajiona Alexus was born March 16 1996 in Tuskegee (Alabama) and moved to Birmingham in 1999. As a child, Ajiona discovered a passion for acting in theatre plays. She was 8 years old when she performed her first monologue on the stage. Being aware of her talent early, her parents immediately enrolled her in dance and acting classes. In 7th year, Ajiona was accepted into the Alabama School of Fine Arts and Theatre Department.After receiving praise for her performance on stage in "A Raisin In The Sun", Ajiona began auditioning for roles. At 14 she was offered her first part as the lead in the film tilted, "Unspoken Words". A little over a year later, she arranged an audition for a repeat part on a sitcom on TV. A few days prior to shooting began, Ajiona received the call, that she had landed the part of DeAnna in The Rickey Smiley Show.
