Adèle Haenel

 Adele Haenel (French: [adel enel]; born 11 February 1989) is a French actress from France. She has received many accolades including two Cesar Awards from seven nominees and one Lumieres Award form two nominations. She was the first recipient of a Cesar Award nomination for her performance in Water Lilies (2007), which was also the start of her long professional and personal relationship with director Celine Sciamma. Haenel won her first Cesar Award in 2014 for her role as Suzanne's supporting actress. In 2015, she won the Cesar Award to Best Actress for Love at the First Fight. Her performances in BPM (Beats per minute) (2017), The Trouble with You (2018), and Portrait of a Lady On Fire (2019) continued to garner her recognition. She is of Austrian descent through her father and is fluent German.Haenel started acting at age five and was a part of local theatre.As as a young person, she would mimic cartoon characters especially the characters from Tex Avery.
