Abigail Spencer

 American actress Abigail Leigh Spencer was born on August 4, 1981. Her acting career began with Rebecca Tyree, a character she played on ABC's daytime soap show All My Children (1999-2001). She became a star in Angela's Eyes (2006), an Lifetime crime drama. She also appeared in recurring roles in the shows Mad Men (2009) and Hawthorne (2009–2011), Suits (2011)-2019, Grey's Anatomy (2017-2022). She was a part of the SundanceTV drama series Rectify from 2013 to the year 2016. For this, she was nominated for a Critics Choice Television Award. From 2016 until 2018 Spencer played the role of history professor Lucy Preston in the NBC science-fiction show Timeless. Spencer has appeared in many films, such as In My Sleep (2010), Cowboys & Aliens (2011), This Means War (2012), Chasing Mavericks (2012), The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia (2013), Oz the Great and Powerful (2013) as well as This Is Where I Leave You (2014)Spencer was born and was raised in Gulf Breeze, Santa Rosa County, Florida,the daughter of Lydia Ann Brown and surfer Yancy Spencer III (1950-2011).She has two brothers: Yancy Spencer IV (born c. 1973) and Sterling Spencer (born c. 1986). Spencer has claimed that she is a part of Cherokee.
