Michael Oher, born May 28, 1986, is a professional American football player. He was born in Memphis Tennessee, United States. His birth name is Michael Jerome Williams, Jr. His parents were Denise Oher, and his father was Michael Jerome Williams, both were not particularly interested in the boy throughout his childhood since they suffered from severe addiction issues to drugs and alcohol. He was named one of the top offensive linemen in the United States after the end of the season. In the year 2004, Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy adopted the boy. The new family offered support for his academics and sports. Oher also did well in other sports , including disco basketball, disco, and track and field.
