Sela Ward

 Sela Ward is an American actor, best known for her 'Emmy Award'-winning performance in shows such as 'Sisters' and 'Once and Again. Born and raised in Mississippi, Sela was interested in art since she was a teenager. After high school, she graduated she attended the University of Alabama and double majored in fine art and advertising. She began her career as a storyboard artist. She began modeling to earn an extra income, and later started appearing in TV commercials. She made her television and film debuts in 1983, with the film titled 'The Man Who Loved Women as well as the TV series named 'Emerald Point N.A.S.' After starring in guest roles in various television and film series through the 1980s, she experienced her breakthrough as an actor in 1991 when she was featured in the series titled "Sisters.' The series featured her as 'Teddy Reed,' one of the lead roles. For this, she won a 'Primetime Emmy award. She also appeared in the series "Once and Again" and was awarded a 'Primetime Emmy' and a 'Golden Globe award for her performance in the role of "Lily Manning" on the series. In addition, she appears in films such as 'Independence Day: Resurgence’ and 'The Day After Tomorrow'.
