Lexa Doig

 Alexandra Doig, a Toronto native, was born to Gloria, who was a Filipina mother and David, an Irish-Scottish dad. After watching "Porgy and Bess" as a child, Lexa was inspired to pursue acting. She quit high school in grade 13, did modeling and commercial work, and was the host of the YTV's Video & Arcade Top 10 (1991) with friend Gordon Michael Woolvett.Her first professional role was at 19 when she was cast opposite William Shatner and Greg Evigan in "TekWar". After appearing on a number of films on big and small screens, including CI5 (1998), Jungleground (1995) and No Alibi (2000) she was offered a role in Jason X (2001), which was the 10th installment of the Friday the 13th series. The role was quickly cast for her in the role of Andromeda Ascendant, a smart artificial intelligence (AI) system. She has appeared on several TV shows which include Traders (1996) as well as Earth: Final Conflict (1997) and The Chris Isaak (2001). Theater credits include "Arsenic and Old Lace" as well as "Romeo and Juliet".
