Kat Dennings

 Kat Dennings was born Katherine Victoria Litwack in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, close to Philadelphia near Philadelphia, to Ellen (Schatz), a poet and speech therapist and Gerald Litwack, a molecular pharmacologist. She is the youngest of five children. The family she comes from is Russian Jewish. Kat began her career at the age of 14 from a family that homeschooled. Her family later moved to Los Angeles, California to assist Kat acting full-time.After her work in commercials, she began work on television. Her first appearance was an appearance on HBO's Sex and the City (1998) followed by parts on Raising Dad (2001), The Scream Team (2002), Everwood (2002), Without a Trace (2002) and ER (1994) among others.Kat moved to the big screen with acting roles in Raise Your Voice (2004), The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005) and Big Momma's House 2 (2006). In the following years, she became famous by playing the roles she played in The House Bunny (2008) as well as Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist (2008). She has been a regular along with Beth Behrs on the CBS television show 2 Broke Girls (2011) since 2011.
