Rachelle Marie Lefevre (/l@'fev/, French: [RaSel maRi l@fevRBorn January 1 1979) is a Canadian actress. She was a star on the TV show Big Wolf on Campus, and also played regular roles on What About Brian, Boston Legal, Swingtown, and Swingtown. In the Twilight films, she played the role as Victoria the vampire. She starred as the vampire Victoria in the first two films in the Twilight story. Her father's family originates of France as well as Northern Ireland, and her maternal grandparents are Jewish.Her stepfather is a rabbi.Lefevre was born into a non-denominational home and is Jewish.She is the youngest of three siblings, and speaks both English and French however she grew up mostly speaking English. Lefevre received her education in Centennial Academy and then at Dawson College. She also studied creative arts and theater at Walnut Hill School in Natick (Massachusetts) and started a degree in education at McGill University.
