Nikki Reed

 Nicole Houston Reed (born May 17, 1988) is an American actress who is famous for her performance as the vampire Rosalie Hale in The Twilight Saga (2008-2012). After the 2003 release of Thirteen, directed and written by Catherine Hardwicke became well-known. She also had the lead part in the film. The film earned Reed an Independent Spirit Award for Best Debut Performance along with several nominations.Nicole Houston Reed was born in West Los Angeles, California and was married to Cheryl Houston, a beautician, and to Seth Reed, a production designer. She is the half-brother of Nathan August Reed and Joey Reed. Her mother is part-Italian Christian and her father is Jewish. Reed was raised without religion and has been identified as Jewish. Reed was raised with Jewish customs, with her brother also having a Bar Mitzvah. Reed has said in numerous interviews that her childhood was not easy. Reed's parents divorced at the age of two and she was raised in Los Angeles by her mother. Reed, then 14, was forced to leave her mother's house and moved in with her parents in Los Angeles. After Thirteen's success, Reed went back to Alexander Hamilton High School, Los Angeles, but she quit after a single year. Reed claimed that her demise was due to "mothers who were sneaking into her lunchtime rooms to confront her and pester her about film"
