Nikki Reed

 Nicole Houston Reed, born May 17, 1988 is an American actress, best known for her role as Rosalie Hale (2008-2012). After the release of Thirteen, directed and written by Catherine Hardwicke, she became well-known. She also had a leading part in the film. Her parents were Cheryl Houston, a beautician and Seth Reed (a production designer) in West Los Angeles, California. Her older brother, Nathan August Reed, and the younger half-brother Joey Reed. Her mother is an Christian of part Italian heritage, whereas her father is Jewish. Reed was raised without a religion and has identified as Jewish. She was raised around Jewish rituals, since her brother celebrated a Bar Mitzvah.Reed has stated in numerous interviews that her childhood life was "complicated". Her parents divorced at the age of Reed was two, and she was raised by her mother. In 2002, when Reed was 14 years old, she moved out of her mother's house and began living on her own, mainly in apartments located in the Los Angeles area.After Thirteen's success, Reed returned to Alexander Hamilton High School in Los Angeles, but dropped out again after a year. Reed said that her decision was due to "mothers who would sneak in during lunch to confront her and pester her about film"
