Hilary Swank

 Hilary Ann Swank, born July 30, 1974, is an American actress. She was first noticed in 1992 due to her character in the popular television show Camp Wilder and made her film debut with a brief role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992). Then, she was a star in The Next Karate Kid (1994), which is the fourth installment of the series. She also starred as Julie Pierce (1994), in the fourth installment in The Karate Kid franchise. The film was highly praised for her performances , and won numerous awards, including two Academy Awards for Best Actress. Time listed her as among the top 100 influential individuals globally in 2005. She was also in film Conviction (2010), Amelia (2009) and You're Not You (2014) and What They Had (2018). Other notable films she's produced include Iron Jawed Angels (2004) and the television film, Logan Lucky (2014), Fatale (2020), and The Homesman (2014). Her first television appearance was by appearing in Alaska Daily in 2022. Her mother Judy Kay (nee Clough) was a secretary and dancer, while her father Stephen Michael Swank was a Chief Master Sergeant with the Oregon Air National Guard.
