Amanda Bearse

 Amanda Bearse (born August 9, 1958) is an American actress, comedian and director. She was the lead actress in Fright Night (1985), a supernatural horror film, she was later Marcy Rhoades-D'Arcy, a character on Fox's Married... with Children (1987-1997). Bearse was a TV director after directing more than 90 hours of comedy programs. After she graduated from Winter Park High School in 1976, her family relocated to Atlanta.She attended Rollins College, Birmingham Southern College and Young Harris College, where she earned an associate of arts degree[5] Bearse was a student of acting at the New York City's Neighborhood Playhouse under instructor Sanford Meisner. She made her television debut playing the role of Amanda Cousins in the ABC daytime soap drama All My Children from 1982 until 1983. She also played a small role in Protocol, starring Goldie Hawn. Then she was chosen to play Fraternity Vacation which was a sex-centric comedy. Bearse was the lead role of the female protagonist in Fright Night, a supernatural horror film. She returned to television with guest-starring role in the ABC drama series Hotel in 1986. The following year as Marcy Rhoades (later Marcy Da'Arcy), the female neighbor on Fox's sitcom.
