Amala Paul, an indigenous Indian actress, was born 26 October 1991. She is primarily seen in Tamil and Malayalam films. She made her acting debut by appearing in a supporting role in the Malayalam-language film Neelathamara in the year 2000, and later became noted for playing the title role in Mynaa.After getting her degree, Lal Jose offered her the role of a second in his film Neelathamara (2009). The film did not succeed despite being a huge hit. She was cast in Vikadakavi, a low-budget comedy film, however the film was later delayed. She was also cast to the lead role in Veerasekaran (2010). The film, which was her maiden Tamil release, was disapproved of by critics, and went unnoticed,while Paul's role was labelled as "minimal" and she later cited that she regretted doing the film and many scenes were cut out.Paul was then able to work on Samy's controversial Sindhu Samaveli (2010), portraying the role of Sundari,
