Allison Raskin

 Allison Beth Raskin (born June 20th, 1989) is an American writer, director, comedian YouTuber, podcaster and mental health advocate.She was previously an author for BuzzFeed Video, but left in 2015 with her co-writer and colleague Gabe Dunn to pursue work on their comedy YouTube channel "Just Between Us. "Raskin has written for Elle, NBC News Think and Splinter News. On September 5, 2017, she as well as Dunn released a novel in collaboration with Dunn I Hate Everyone But You, which reached the top ten spots on The New York Times best sellers list.Raskin was born on June 20 1989 in Manhattan, New York to a Jewish family.She went to the University of Southern California and earned a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree. She started in a Pepperdine University clinical psychology program in the year 2020 and focuses on marriage and Family Therapy. At the age of four, old she was diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and continued to suffer from depression and anxiety. After taking medication up to the age of 21, she took a 7-year break that included therapy. At the age of 28, she recommenced her medication and experienced backlash regarding weight gain due to side effects.
