Allison Miller is an American actress from the United States. She is best known for the role of Michelle Benjamin on the NBC series Kings, Skye Tate on the Fox series Terra Nova, and Carrie on the NBC series Go On. In the Syfy television series Incorporated, she starred in the role of Laura Larson. Miller is currently the main character in ABC's A Million Little Things. Miller was born in Rome to American parents Margo Winn Miller and John Winn Miller. Her father was the former editor of The Olympian newspaper in Olympia, Washington.During her childhood, Miller was often on the move, growing up mostly in Lexington, Kentucky, before beginning high school at State College, Pennsylvania,and finishing at Maclay School in Tallahassee, FloridaMiller briefly went to Boston University before attending Rhodes College during her first year of college, later transferring to the University of Florida in Gainesville.She is a part of Kappa Delta sorority, and was featured in a story in the Kappa Delta newsletter, The Angelos.In 2006, Miller dropped out of college and relocated to Hollywood to pursue an acting profession full-time. She is trained in tap, voice, jazz, and modern dance. She is a mezzo-soprano . She plays the piano and the guitar. She is fluent in Spanish and French.
