Allie Bethany Clifton (born January 30 1988) is a sports journalist and former college basketball player who is currently the television pregame host for Los Angeles Lakers telecasts on Spectrum SportsNet, after previously being a Cleveland Cavaliers sideline reporter for Fox Sports Ohio.Allie Bethany Clifton was born January 30 in 1988. Clifton is from Van Wert in Ohio. She played basketball in college as a member of the Toledo Rockets women’s basketball team between 2006 and 2010. Following college, Clifton began her broadcasting career in Toledo as a sports reporter for ABC affiliate WTVG channel 13 prior to joining the Cavaliers broadcast team in 2012.In 2017 Clifton began hosting the show Road Trippin' alongside Cavs players Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye. Clifton started hosting the Road Trippin' podcast alongside Cavs players Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye in the year 2017. In 2017, she announced that she was leaving Fox Sports Ohio and Cavaliers to host the pregame show on Spectrum SportsNet. This was the same time LeBron James signed with the Lakers.
