Alisha Newton

 Alisha Newton was born and raised in Vancouver Canada. She has been in film and television for over 10 years. She was a series regular on "The Wyoming Story" which was an Amy Sherman Palladino pilot, her first major part. She made her first television appearance on the series' smash "Supernatural" within a matter of days. Then, she appeared in "Supernatural" as an actor in several independent films. She then made her big screen debut in Twentieth Century Fox’s "Percy Jackson - Sea of Monsters", starring Alexandra Daddario & Logan Lerman. She joined the cast at the age of 10 and has since grown into the role on screen. Alisha also takes on interesting acting assignments during the four-month gap between "Heartland's" filming. She can be seen in "The Tree That saved Christmas", "When Calls The Heart", "The Hollow" and "Scorched Earth" which are both TV films. Alisha was honored to present live on CBC at the "Canadian Country Music Awards" just 15 years old. of age. This makes her among the youngest presenters during the ceremony.
