Alisha Newton

 Alisha Newton was born and was raised in Vancouver Canada. She has been in film and television for more than 10 years. Her first big role came as a series regular for "The Wyoming Story", an Amy Sherman-Palladino-directed pilot for CW/WarnerBros. She made her first TV appearance on the show's hit "Supernatural" shortly after. She later played a variety of roles in a variety of challenging independent films , before making her debut on the big screen in Twentieth Century Fox's "Percy Jackson - Sea of Monsters" starring Alexandra Daddario and Logan Lerman.Alisha is most well-known for her lead role as Georgie on the hit CBC television show, "Heartland", which is watched by over 119 countries. When she was 10 she joined the show's cast, and has since grown up on the screen. Alisha also takes on interesting acting assignments during the four-month break between "Heartland's" filming. She can be seen in the TV movie "The Tree that saved Christmas" and the TV series "When Calls The Heart" and a lead part in a horror show for SyFy called "The Hollow" as well as in the action/sci-fi film "Scorched Earth". Alisha aged just fifteen years old, was honored to host the "Canadian Country Music Awards" on CBC. She was among the youngest presenters at the event.
