Alina Zagitova

 Alina Ilnazovna Zagitova (Russian: Alina Il'nazovna Zagitova, IPA: [a'ljin@ za'gjit@v@]; born 18 May 2002) is a Russian figure skater. She was the 2018 Olympic champion and the 2019 World champion as well as the 2018 European champion, the 2017-18 Grand Prix Final champion, and the 2018 Russian national champion. Zagitova also earned an Olympic silver medal in the team event at the 2018 Winter Olympics, representing the Olympic Athletes from Russia team.Zagitova is the only Russian female figure skater to have won gold medals at the Olympic Games, World Figure Skating Championships, European Figure Skating Championships and Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final. Zagitova is the first Muslim to be awarded an Olympic figure-skating gold medal an award in the world and the Super Slam. Following Yuna Kim, she is the second youngest and the most popular female singles skater to win gold in every major ISU championships. These include the Junior Grand Prix Series, Final, World Junior Championships Grand Prix Series, Final, European Championships and Winter Olympic Games. Earlier in her career she took the gold medal at the 2017 World Junior Championships and at the 2016-17 Junior Grand Prix Final. At the 2016-17 Junior Grand Prix Final, she became the first junior lady to achieve an overall score that was above the 200 mark.Zagitova has broken the world record only once in the old system and four times under the new system.
