Alina Zagitova

 Alina Ilnazovna Zagitova (Russian: Alina Il'nazovna Zagitova, IPA: [a'ljin@ za'gjit@v@]; born 18 May 2002) is a Russian figure skater. She was the 2018 Olympic champion as well as the 2019 World champion as well as the 2018 European champion, the 2017-18 Grand Prix Final champion, and the 2018 Russian national champion. Zagitova also earned an Olympic silver medal in the team event of the 2018 Winter Olympics, representing the Olympic Athletes from Russia team.Zagitova is the sole Russian female figure skater to have won gold at the Olympic Games, World Figure Skating Championships, European Figure Skating Championships and Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final. Zagitova is the only Muslim to earn an Olympic figure-skating gold medal, an award that is the most prestigious in the world, and also the Super Slam. She is the youngest and the second women's singles skater following Yuna Kim, to win gold in every major ISU championships, including the Junior Grand Prix Series and Final, World Junior Championships, Grand Prix Series and Final, European Championships, World Championships, and Winter Olympic Games. She took home the gold medal earlier in her career, at the 2017 World Junior Championships as well in the 2016-17 Junior Grand Prix Final. At the 2016-17 Junior Grand Prix Final, she became the first junior lady to reach a total score above 200 mark.Zagitova has broken the world record once in the old system and four times with the new system.
