Alicia Malone

 Alicia Maree Malone works as an Film Reporter and TV Host. She's also a Writer, Producer and Editor, Screenwriter and an all-round film geek. Her love for film began when she was a child. She would spend many Friday nights in pajamas at the video store, selecting seven films at $7 per day. Bargain! When she was at school, she set up a Film Club, electing herself President. The principal of the school finally asked her to refrain from discussing movies during school assembly. When she graduated from high school, Alicia moved to Sydney and found a job in an online store, in which she was able to inform customers of the correct movie choices, whether they asked for it or not. The store offered her an interview at Channel Seven. There she worked for six years in different tasks in the production. When she responded to an ad for a position at the television station on cable Movie Network Channels, Alicia took up a role as host as well as producer and editor. She hosted red carpet parties for Tropfest Short Film Festival and AFI Awards, as well as presenting and directing numerous shows focusing on films, like Movie Juice and Premiere. Alicia was also seen weekly on the morning program The Morning Show as their expert on films, as well as discussing films on radio station Triple M,
