Alicia Malone

 Alicia Maree Malone works as an Film Reporter and TV host. She is also a writer, producer and Editor, Screenwriter and all-around film geek. Her love of film at a young age, spending many a heady Friday night in her pajamas in the video stores, picking out her 7 films for 7 days for just $7. Bargain! She was an active member of the Film Club and elected herself as president. The School Principal eventually asked her to refrain from discussing movies during school assembly. After graduating from the high school of her choice, Alicia moved to Sydney and got a job in a video store where she took to advising customers on the best movies to watch, regardless of whether it was requested or not. She was then offered an opportunity at Channel Seven. There she was employed for six years in various production roles. After responding to an advertisement for a position with television station on cable Movie Network Channels, Alicia was hired as a editor, producer and host. She also created and hosted various shows based on movies, such as Movie Juice and Premiere, and also hosted the red carpet live like the AFI Awards and Tropfest Short Film Festival. Alicia was also featured weekly on the national breakfast program The Morning Show as their movie expert, was heard talking about films on Radio station Triple M,
