Sharon Lawrence

 Alicia Silverstone (/@lI'si:@born October 4, 1976) is an American actress. Her film debut was in The Crush (1993), which she won the 1994 MTV Movie Award in Best Breakthrough Performance. She earned even more attention at the age of 16, when she was featured in the Aerosmith's music video for "Cryin'". She then starred in the role of Cher Horowitz in the teen-oriented comedy film Clueless (1995), which resulted in a multi-million dollar deal with Columbia Pictures. She played Batgirl in the big-budget 1997 superhero movie Batman & Robin. In 1995, Silverstone was nominated for an award called a Golden Globe for Best Actress for a Television Series Musical or Comedy. Silverstone continues to perform in films and television. She is vegan, and was born in San Francisco. She is the daughter of Deirdre Silverstone (nee Radford) who was a former Pan Am flight attendant from Scotland, and Monty Silverstone, an English agent. [4][5] She was raised in Hillsborough, California. Her father was born to an ethnically Jewish family. Her mother converted to Conservative Judaism after she married. Silverstone was blessed with her first Bat Mitzvah. She began modeling at the age of six and was later cast in commercials for Domino's Pizza. Sharon Elizabeth Lawrence was born June 29th, 1961. She was on the ABC drama, NYPD Blue, from 1993 to 1999. The role garnered her three Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series, Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in the Drama Series and Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama. For her television roles after NYPD Blue, Lawrence was nominated for three Emmy Awards. In 2001, she starred on CBS the supernatural drama Wolf Lake and in 2007 on CW's teen drama , Hidden Palms. Lawrence was a notable character in Desperate Housewives, Drop Dead Diva, Rizzoli & Isles, The Ranch, Shameless and Queen Sugar. Gossip (2001), Middle of Nowhere (2012), and Solace (2015) are just a few of the films she has starred in. In 2021, she started playing in the Paramount+ neo-Western series, Jo Pickett.Lawrence was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. She relocated from Charlotte to Raleigh during her senior year of high school. She then was a graduate of Needham B. Broughton High School. She was a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with the Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism in 1983.
