Nicky Whelan

 She hosted several shows prior to Neighbours. She was host of Beyond the Boundary (Network Ten), Coxy's Big Break(Seven Network), Melbourne Woman (Seven Network) and also playing the role of "Chrissie Grant" who was a fictional character, on Russell Coight’s Celebrity Challenge (a spin-off from All Aussie Adventures). Whelan is also known for being the host and face of Shepparton's rural Victorian city. She was also the host of the Moonee Valley night racing for eight years. She has also appeared in various Australian magazines like FHM (in October 2007), Ralph (in November 2005), and Inside Sport. FHM (in October 2007), Ralph (in November 2005) and Inside Sport.) and Inside SportIn November 2007, she appeared at Harrow, London, to support sustainable transport and initiatives that benefit the environment. She also took some pictures for Harrow's 'It's up to All of Us' campaign.At the event, she revealed that following Neighbours that she was in discussions over feature films. Whelan was in the film Hollywood and Wine in Los Angeles with David Spade.Whelan appeared in the last season of Scrubs as Maya, the Australian medical school student.[4In November of 2010, Whelan appeared in a viral advertisement for Rokk Vodka, which was aired alongside the film The Lonely Island.[5] Whelan also played the character as Leigh in the 2011 film Hall Pass, which co-starred Owen Wilson, Jason Sudeikis, Jenna Fischer, and Christina Applegate.In October of 2011, Whelan guest-starred as an attractive telemarketing temp in the episode "Temp-Tress" from the American sitcom Workaholics as well as in the film The Wedding Ringer starring Kevin Hart.
