Megan Mullally (born November 12, 1958) is an American actress who is a comedian, singer, and actress. Her most well-known role is that of Karen Walker, on the NBC sitcom Will & Grace (1998–2006, 2017–2020). She was awarded eight Primetime Emmy Award nominations in this category for Outstanding Supporting Actress and she was awarded two times in the years 2000 and 2006. The show also won her nominations for other honors for her character as Karen Walker, which included seven consecutive Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations for Outstanding Performance by a Female Performer in the field of a Comedy Series, winning three times, in 2001, 2002, and 2003. She also ended up receiving four Golden Globe Award nominations.From 2006 until 2007, Mullally hosted the talk show The Megan Mullally Show. Since then, she has been a series regular on a variety of television shows like In the Motherhood, Party Down, Childrens Hospital, and Breaking In. Other comedy series have featured her in guest spots or recurring parts, such as Happy Endings and Bob's Burgers and Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock and Up All Night, Boston Legal and The New Adventures of Old Christine. Mullally also appears in film, such as in Smashed (2012) and The Kings of Summer (2013). (2016).
